As with the services we offer
- our fees are tailorable and consistent with the service package you
require.
a. All expenses associated with the movement of your vessel: fuel,
food, maintenance, port fees, etc.. Clearly manpower is the most significant variable when it comes to overall cost. Movement schedules dictating around the clock underway operations necessitate more crew not to mention greater wear and tear on the vessel. The larger the vessel the more manpower required to safely move her, etc. Generally we favor the "per nautical mile fee" within less constrictive “pick-up” and “drop-off” times. This permits greater flexibility in terms of manpower and the ever present uncertainties of weather. Having to “push the weather envelope” is neither prudent nor safe, but sometimes must be done to meet your delivery schedule. Given these considerations we can write a contract based on:
a. “Underway” engine hours. (If yours is a sailing vessel, we
won’t go for this one.) |
